Thomas Zicola was born in Clermont, France in 1976. He currently lives and works in Toulouse, France. Fascinated by human facts, Thomas Zicola undertakes a psychology clinic oriented education. Already, he has a specific interest for boarder line situations: he intervenes within places where social links slacken and break. His practical and doctrinal encounter with psychoanalysis will mark a turning point in his approach of human facts. Eventually, his approach will shift towards his own story and towards artistic expression. He then takes over the photographic medium and works on questions arisen by his personal experiences. Therefore, his reasoning is not only aesthetic; it leads coordinates to more reflexive matters which inscribes his approach in visual art.
