"I grew up in Devon in the southwest of England, I studied fashion photography in London 3 years ago but soon realised the work I was producing wasn’t what I wanted. So I stopped trying to force pictures and situations and began to photograph the ones that were actually happening around me. So my photography gradually became a combination of fashion and reportage. I began shooting for i-D magazine a year ago and since then have been made Editor of Eye-Spy at Dazed and Confused, who I now shoot for every month." (Matt Irwin)
