NKR: what's the technique you use the most, and why?
MB: the more time, i use pencils and acrylic on paper...because few tools means being free...and i love the acrylic because it's a simple material : only the final work can wake it up ! When i need a biggest picture i paint on wood panels.
NKR: where do you work on your pictures and projects?
MB: i've got a studio in my apartment
NKR: what project has given you the most satisfaction?
MB: those i'm doing from about 7 months
NKR: contemporary living artists. are there any particular ones you appreciate?
MB: camille rose-garcia, delphine coindet, virginie barré, felice varini, tatiana trouvé, matthew barney, takashi murakami, takeshi kitano (his paintings are fantastic), tanadorri yokoo, elliott erwitt, boyd webb, william wegman, m/m studio, chris cunningham + all those fantastic music album designers (so much names !) + comics (tayou matsumoto, joan sfar, dave mac kean, gradimir smudja, mike mignola)
NKR: name a few artists whose work inspired you?
MB: hans bellmer, francis bacon, jerome bosch, gustave doré, gustave courbet....and so much again...
NKR: what are you afraid of regarding the future?
MB: everything...
