Anna Giertz was born in 1975 in Gnesta, Sweden. At the moment, she's working as a freelance illustrator, based in Stockholm.

"Since I finished my MA studies in graphic design and illustration at Konstfack collage of arts and crafts I have been working as a freelance illustrator, based in Stockholm. Sometimes I collaborate with some friends in a design group called Bravehat. We have done some illustration based work , exhibitions and run a club together where we invite various mucisians and artists to perform. I have been working for magazines and books such as Bongout, Cavalier, CO-OP, Amelias Magazine, Dong, The End Magazine, Odd at large among others." (Anna Giertz)
